While keeping bees has seen a boom in recent years, that doesn't change the fact that a few mistakes can land you in a world of pain, as demonstrated by the following video.

An unnamed amateur beekeeper was tending to a hive when a small disaster occurred. The keeper was attempting to remove some frames from an unstable hive, and ended up knocking some to the ground.

"Oh, god." Oh, god," the man can be heard saying as the honey bees begin to swarm. "This is terrible!"

According to the uploader's description on YouTube, the keeper ended up waiting out the swarm in a nearby pond.

"I ended up jumping in a pond and waiting two hours as angry bees continued to sting my veil. I'd say I got away with 20 or 30 stings total. Always wear proper protective gear and keep your frames clear of sticky wax," he wrote.
